Get to know the professional and friendly staff of the Siler City Country Club!


Mark Davis, GM/Head Professional

Mark has been at Siler City Country Club since February of 2008.  He came here from
Charlotte, NC where he was the owner/operator of Effortless Golf from 1995-2008.  
He was voted as one of the World’s Top 100 Club-fitters in 2006 and 2007.  He also
enjoys teaching and has been an accomplished player in the past.  As an amateur he
qualified for the US Amateur in 1990 and advanced to the 2nd round of match play.  
He also finished runner-up in the Carolina’s Am that same year.  He played golf
professionally from 1991-1994 and was a member of the Nike Tour in 1993.  He won
on the Hooters Tour in 1991 while posting a course record 63 in the second round of
the Lady Lake Classic at Harbor Hills CC.  Mark brings his passion and knowledge of
the game of golf to the members and guests of Siler City Country Club.

Jake Hart, Superintendent

Jake has been proudly serving Siler City Country Club since 1973.  His experience and
knowledge make sure the course is kept in excellent condition despite whatever nature
has in store.  He is also an accomplished player having come within 1 stroke of
qualifying for the Senior P.G.A. Tour at their Q-School.  His vast knowledge of golf and
his experience as a player and superintendent make Jake an invaluable asset to Siler
City Country Club.

Kim Cockman, Office Manager

Kim has been serving Siler City Country Club for over 14 years.  She started out as
Pool Manager and began to help out in the club with some of the books and was
promoted to office manager.  She has also been Ladies Club Champion many times and
is one of the better Women Amateur Players in the area.

Jon Miconi, Executive Chef

Jon comes to Siler City Country Club having served as a Chef at The Carolina Club in
Chapel Hill.  He was responsible for weddings, wine dinners, private functions, alumni
dinners and much more.  He worked hard at maintaining membership satisfaction for
over 3,000 members.  He achieved this by asking members their likes and dislikes and
put into practice what they wanted.  He brings this type of commitment to service to the
members and guests of Siler City Country Club.
